Just a quick note. Phil Hughes avoided arbitration with the Yankees and has agreed on a 1 year deal worth $7.5 million.  Read about it HERE.

My feeling on this is simple, 1 year for Hughes to go big.  If he does, meaning, if he fulfills all the Yankees expectations since he came up years ago and was compared to a young Roger Clemens (Read HERE), the sky is the limit for this guy and the Yankees will be fine in 2013.
