JOSE CONTRERAS IS STILL GOING

A quick note before bed.  Jose Contreras and the Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to terms on a minor league deal and an invite to Spring Training.  You can read about it HERE.

Contreras never really panned out in New York with the Yankees while he was here for 2 years (2003-2004), but he's been pitching ever since with teams like the Chicago White Sox and Philadelphia Phillies.  He'll now move on to Pittsburgh and I wish the guy well.  I always like Contreras and at 41, I can only imagine the Pirates may be his last team. It was a good run.
