I really like what I see in Nathan Eovaldi! A great outing today, striking out 5 in 4 2/3rd innings. I have a good feeling about Eovaldi in the Yankee rotation, which is now, 1. Masahiro Tanaka, 2. Michael Pineda, 3. CC Sabathia, 4. Eovaldi and 5. Adam Warren maybe? Everything right is happening with this kid.
It was also a nice day from our pal Chase Headley who went 2 for 3with 3 RBIs. He had a solo homer today as well.
Alex Rodriguez played 1st base today. It was his debut. Nothing earth-shattering... he played it with ease.
Not much more today. It was a blow-out with the Yankees beating the Astros nicely. All good!
